May 27, 2014 – Hyundai Motor, Official Partner of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™, has today announced the five locations it will bring football fans together to experience and share the passion and excitement of the world’s most-popular sporting event.

As is tradition at major tournaments, Hyundai Motor will host thousands of football supporters at its hugely-popular Fan Parks, venues where fans can cheer for their teams with friends and family while watching the matches live on large screens. Hosted at five major cities – Berlin (Germany), Madrid (Spain), Torino (Italy), Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Sydney (Australia) – fans will be able to experience the exciting atmosphere of the month-long tournament.

Since their introduction at the 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany™, Hyundai Fan Parks have enabled more than 10 million football fans to enjoy the beautiful game together with friends and fellow supporters.

“We are very excited about bringing back Hyundai Fan Parks, one of Hyundai Motor’s signature FIFA World CupTM programs,” said Tak Uk Im, Hyundai Motor’s Chief Operating Officer. “In particular, we expect our new digital initiatives to increase interaction between Fan Park participants and enhance the excitement of the games.”

Football lovers around the world are now able to share their passion online through Hyundai Motor’s new ‘Pin My Fan Park’ program, part of the online activities available at the
brand’s dedicated World Cup microsite (http://worldcup.hyundai.com). The brand’s new online portal allows fans to support their team and show their passion for the game by sharing texts, music playlists, photos and videos, as well as playing games and winning prizes.

Additionally, Hyundai Motor recently launched its official FIFA World Cup™ TV commercial featuring the company’s brand ambassadors, Iker Casillas, Ricardo Kaka, and Oscar Emboaba.
